Sometimes I meet outstanding photography students. Let me introduce one of those to you. His name is James Russell and he owns the Outdoor Depot in Church Stretton. I met James when he came on one of the Church Stretton classes. The nicest thing is that he is un-assuming about his photography. He has carved out his own signature on his images with his stunning landscape and time exposure work. He has recently had images published in Amateur Photographer magazine and is destined to take it as far as he wants to. James also has a refreshing take on equipment. He rightly maintains that its not all about the acquisition of gear; its getting the best out of what you’ve got.
